New Favorite Group
Man these dudes are really doing it right now. I dont know who's idea it was to get them together, but whoever's it was is a genius. These dudes are the epitome of hip hop. Nothing but impeccable lyrics and flawless deliveries. Groups like this are gonna keep hip hop alive and well forever. Hopefully this will inspire others to do the same.
Check them out, this song is tough

Kanye on South Park
I guess you can say its a good thing that a member of the hip hop community was deemed important enough to be featured on the show. But honestly, I feel like they were making a mockery of him. I'll give it to the creators, 'Ye is a wild dude, and a diva, and I'm tight his ego is postponing the blueprint 3, but this episode was a little out there. And i think them making Ye look like this is a bad look for the entire hip hop community. I really dont understand how this show is really still on the air. I understand freedom of speech and all that, but JEWBOTS??? Really? Tv is really getting out of hand these days.

Soulja Boy Protested!
Soulja Boy was protested last friday at his show last week at University of Minnesota Duluth. A group of students said that his lyrics were objectionable and disrespectful toward women. Leaders of the protest made reference to one of his songs "Pimp Slap Dat Hoe" where he says "Pimp slap dat hoe man/Show her what you know man/Give her what she need man/Right side her face man." Soulja Boy kept fans up to date on his Twitter saying "WTF I'm in minnesota its a group of mafuckaz protesting my show this sh*t on all the news!!” “Mann these people better get the fuck on! I could have been In New York new jointing Turn My Swag On!!!!... They say I'm breaking a record for the people attending the show tonight, umma act a fool!!!!”
This shit gets me mad. I really tried to give Soulja Boy the benefit of the doubt when everybody else wanted to bash him and say he killed hip hop, but thats exactly what he's doing. I could rock with him when he said that he was doing his music for fun, he saw it as a way to get himself and his family out of poverty, but know he's crossed the line. Everywhere other than probably HBCUs, rap is not favored by administration and also the majority of the student population. Soulja Boy going up on stage as a "rapper" is making it seem like the bullshit he's doing is actually hip hop. And the dude actually had the audacity to try to get tough on his twitter talking about how "he can be in new york new jointing turn my swag on??" word, DOULJA boy??? homeboy needs to realize that artists are nothing without their fan base and he needs to avoid burning bridges. by all means, go get your money, just not at the expense of the rest of the hip hop game... there's people doing this that are actual real artists, don't ruin it for everybody else. RESPECT YOUR CRAFT
I think this picture says everything you need to know about soulja boy. This is the cover to the single that made this hip hop impostor's career. He had the freedom to choose any picture in the world to represent him and his project, and he chose to be on the cell phone (knowing damn well he not talking to anybody) with a hand full of money, the glasses with the white out writing and the infamous rubber band chain. Obviously he's in the game for the material shit. He said himself he made his music just so he could get out the hood. I say there's no problem with that SELLOUT, just dont try to claim the garbage you're creating is Hip-hop. I swear we need to create a whole new division of hip hop. We got gangsta, conscious, and Hip-POP. Thats it, i tried to hold of on my soulja boy rant, but after I heard this story, I couldn't help it.

R.I.P. KING MAGAZINE
Damn, just read on a few websites that KING magazine is shutting down shop... The economic crisis gave them no other choice, so they gotta call it quits... I always hate to hear when black owned, more specifically hip hop centralized companies don't prosper... They've had a good run, but I guess like they say all great things come to an end...
In memory, thought I'd throw up my favorite cover... Its Mrs. Stacey Martin... I mean Dash lol

Why I Rock with Lupe
I swear to god this dude is talented, no head, but thats why he's my favorite rapper. He proves time after time why he is one of the most versatile in the game. How many dudes do you know that could freestyle some fire to a wild beat like that??? Not many, I know... I went to see him at the Nokia Theater in Times Square a while back and it was one of the concerts i've ever been to. His stage presence is crazy. He had the fans in the crowd screaming out songs they wanted him to do, non stop screaming, and at most points in the show, he would just pause and have the audience anxious, waiting to see what he would do next. I put this up because I really look to Lupe when I'm looking for inspiration on how to carry myself on stage... Not to mention he's one of the best lyricists to bless the game.

FUR IN MY CAP
This song is dumb as hell, but for some reason I fuck with it... I think its a representation of how our generation is just trying to make hip hop fun... Homie is talking about fur in his cap, how serious can he be?

SMH DIDDY
I know I haven't posted in a while, but I thought I'd seize the opportunity and speak on something thats been bugging me for a minute... while I was on worldstarhiphop watching videos I came across this one, and it really got me kinda tight... i feel that Ness is a real dude in the game thats heavily underestimated because of his lack of publicity thanks to the MC graveyard also known as Bad Boy Records... Im sick of this man Diddy signing people to contracts and throwing them back up on the shelf to collect dust after one project... i was just having this conversation with somebody... like, look at the situation with the Lox... they just got royalties from like 95 5 years ago... i think diddy is a capitalist that just takes advantage of people while they have a buzz, then gets rid of them (WITHOUT RELEASING THEM) without trying to manufacture some more hot shit. DIDDY, STOP SIGNING ARTISTS TO THESE SLAVE DEALS AND LET THEM MAKE THEIR MUSIC!
heres the video
